Islamic Civilization Park is located in a small island, off of east coast of Terengganu. The prime attraction of Wan Man Island is this theme park and it attracts millions of visitors to this unique interactive theme park featuring the Islamic teaching since it was opened in February 2008. It took up 22 hectares of land area in total, with an additional 8.4 hectare of reclaimed land for future development.


This unique theme park is a way to demonstrate the achievement of Islamic architecture. Besides, it provides an interactive journey of many famous Islamic monuments, including Taj Mahal of India, Al-Hambra Citadel of Spain and 3 others interactive monument. These 5 interactive monuments are among the other 21 mini replica monuments found in the Islamic Civilization Complex, separated from the Public Zone. Public zone houses the most impressive icon of the theme park, which is the Crystal Mosque.

Apart from theme park, island and beaches are among the popular attractions, namely Redang Island (Pulau Redang), Perhentian Island (Pulau Perhentian) and Rantau Abang (turtle watching). Bukit Keluang is known for its breathtaking view and caving, Lake Kenyir for its man made lake. For authentic local seafood, Merang town is often the option for visit.

Hotel in Terengganu is widely available, located close to the nearby attractions. Packages in the island normally include boat transfer, food and snorkeling.


MAS/Firefly/Air Asia commutes daily to Kuala Terengganu airport. From there, catch a taxi to city center. Otherwise, you can take the express bus that runs four times a day from Hentian Putra bus station in Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu.From city, daily shuttle is available to bring you across to the theme park. You can also try out the 'Penampang' boat cruise from Shah Bandar jetty to Tok Ku Paloh in the theme park itself.
